The Habari Maalum College is located on the slopes of Mount Meru, the second highest mountain in Tanzania after Kilimanjaro. It is 15km away from Arusha town along Namanga road. This area is part of Tanzania’s Northern Highlands (1,600m) above sea level), and it is noted for its cold temperatures favourable for study activities. Arusha is the major tourist town in Tanzania and the capital of East Africa Community.

TRAVEL AND OTHER ARRANGEMENTS

Arusha can be reached from other parts of Tanzania, East Africa and the whole world by air and highways. Students should make their own travel arrangements to and from the campus of HMC and should be sure they have enough pocket money for their personal expenses. Foreign students should conform to all Tanzanian immigration formalities before they arrive in Tanzania. Immigration forms are available through the internet (www.immigration.go.tz) and students should apply for student visa from their nearest Tanzanian Embassy or High Commission.
